Upon acceptance of your proposal:
Annual HIMSS Conference (lecture or roundtable) speakers/facilitators receive:
All general conference speakers receive a complimentary registration to the 2011 Annual HIMSS Conference.
This complimentary registration is not transferrable. HIMSS members receive 10 advancement points for speaking at the
conference. PLEASE NOTE, All general conference speakers will be responsible for their hotel and travel arrangements
and any expenses incurred.
E-Session session primary authors receive:
All E-Session authors who are HIMSS members receive 5 HIMSS advancement points. While E-Session authors' attendance
is not required at the conference, the primary author will receive a complimentary registration to the conference.
This complimentary registration is not transferrable.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- If original accepted proposal speaker cancels, that proposal will be disqualified.
- For the 2010 Annual Conference, over 600 proposals were submitted and approximately 120 were selected
- Additional speakers not included in the originally submitted proposals are not
permitted to be added at a later date. Replacement speakers are not permitted.
